Comment:
Girl-group songs have a pretty limited range of subject matter, or you might say just one subject,& this set just tightens the focus a bit. If it comes out sounding a little obsessive, well, that's the way teenage crush music is meant to be. (The cover image is an old Shirelles album.)
Feedback:
Oh yeah! He's so Fine, Sweet Talkin Guy, Just One Look. I love the girl groups. Are you interested in a trade?
Great mix! You can never go wrong with an all girl group compilation.
really great. Irresistable pop classics.
exactly what Gerard said
all cool, lady!
Excellent!
This is super. Some real favorites here.
Lovely stuff.
girl groups is another favorite sub-genre of mine , this looks really good.
What! No Shangri-Las? Talk about your (bad) boy-crazy girls! This looks terrific, Joey, nice job!
Great idea and great mix. I may want to trade for this...
gosh, theme-tape of the week! i'm feeling new-crush gooey just imagining this mix!
good job putting the raindrops. ellie greenwich could sing just as well as she could write. or, you know, well enough. i think the best version of baby it's you is the one smith did, but that was later, when there were hippies and stuff.
