Another mix for my longtime boyfriend. We actually just went to see Rainer Maria, and they did a beautiful rendition of "Planetary". I should have saved "I Miss You" for my next mix, which is an I'm-leaving-for-college-and-don't-want-to-leave-you mix for said boy, but I didn't want to commit suicide while making it, you know? In our early days he quoted some lyrics from I Miss You, so I thought it good tribute. The Jimmy Eat World and Cranberry double-whammy works really well, even if both are incredibly guilty pleasures. As for the Moby to Bright Eyes transition, all I have to say is creepy. That Bright Eyes song is one of his best, but as a girl listening to those lyrics, my whole body gets cold.
