Yes, I am proud to say I am from the Canadian province of Manitoba! We're smack dab in the middle of the country (actually, of the continent) and most people seem to think all we do here is farm. Obviously, that's not true, I don't think I've been on a farm since a kindergarten field trip! So I just decided to make a cd featuring some of the great music that's come out of my fair province!Feedback:
This is very cool! I, for one, have found that Canada gets a bad rap for the Bryan Adams, Celion Dion, etc. pop stuff. The problem is that not enough people in the U.S. know about Sloan, The Hip, MGB, Odds, Waltons, etc. Nice mix!
I still absolutely *LOVE* "Innocence" by Harlequin...., good job Manitoban!
Nothing wrong with being from Manitoba, I used to live in New Brunswick- the Iowa of the Maritimes...anyway very nice mix...you've got a really great traditional ska band from Manitoba- JFK & The Conspirators...
nice one!
