Comment:
Kind of an odd mix. I tried to bring elements of Ellison's perspective into a modern light. I used Biggie Smalls' Hypnotize (again, I know) because when someone played it during his funeral procession in NYC, it sparked a riot. This reminded me of the riot towards the end of Invisible Man. Also, I used a few Roots tunes because, as Black Thought says, their music aims to "haunt" listeners.Feedback:
Looks interesting. Love the O'Jays -> Outkast and "Pharaoh's Dance." Love "Invisible Man."
This looks good. I love "Hypnotize" so very much.
