Xmas 1999 sampler: the last of my analogue xmas gifts..... Looking back this one is kinda interesting since it had so many new discoveries on it. Flaming Lips (and their new 'Soft Bulletin' sound) will end up becoming a standard, as well as strange sugary sweet songs from the likes of The Sensualists, and new/old discoveries like the classics from Wire. (how did i miss them all along?) Also, finding super-amazing oldies like Kool & The Gang!! Damn! I got the spirit of the Boogie! When is TKK gonna cover that?!? this was 1999 for me.... interesting.
