it's cold, rainy, windy, dark out, and i decided to make a mix that creeps the hell out of me. the conet project, for those who don't know, is a collection of shortwave radio broadcasts from 'numbers stations,' which broadcast encrypted information to spies all over the globe. supposedly. i believe it. and the northern lights make 'noises' when their magnetic fields are recorded and amplified. the beach boys song was rumored to have been written by charles manson.
