HALT! Do not press the back button just yet! As much as it pains me to say it, I know that lots of you don't know who Jump, Little Children are, so before you exit this mix--which I wouldn't really recommend for anyone but a hardcore Jump fan--please listen to me when I say that Jump, Little Children is one of the best--perhaps THE best--band out there today. For lyricism and sheer musical beauty, I can think of no one who touches them. Not to say that they cannot rock on an epic scale, for they certainly can. They deserve so much more recognition than they get--so please please check them out. I'm begging you.

I like Jump, Little Children a whole lot, I was surprised that just about no one picked up on "Vertigo" which was a huge step forward for the band. Any time I play "Mother's Eyes" for someone, they go "Whoa, is that Radiohead?" I love that song "Coming Back," although the mp3 I have isn't a very good recording... it sounds like it was recorded in a bar or something... but it's still great anyway!

I couldn't agree more--"Vertigo" is one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard, and on a totally different level than "Magazine." That's why I always have a bit of trouble when recommending which album people should listen to first--but in the end, I always choose "Magazine," because it's beautiful too, and I don't think you can fully appreciate "Vertigo" without it. And "Coming Back" is a great song, though my recording isn't great either-- unfortunately a lot of the songs on these CDs sound like they were recorded in a bar. (Sigh) Ah well.

I would love to trade; your mixes look really good. :) I'm sad so say that I haven't Heard of Eric's Trip or Explosions in the Sky, but I'd like to. So anyway, this could be totally pointless because you might not look at this mix again, in which case I'll just e-mail you...yes. Okay.
