Comment:

Ahh, Saturday morning rootin' through the singles bin at the thrift store. No real order or theme here other than maybe alphabetical, just a sampling out of my own singles bin.The picture is of my Lowrider.

Looks like you've found some great stuff. I love checking out the used vinyl at the swap meet on Sundays. And the bike? That's one sweet ride my friend. Did you build it yourself?

lovely. i'm also an addict when it comes to swap meets and record fairs - in fact, i've been saving my pennies for the next record fair here, in 2 weeks time. Great bike, too.

Nice mix. Lotsa treasures. The thrift stores in L.A. are pretty much picked over all the time. The only thing left is usually a Glen Campbell album with the cardboard jacket split open and about 114 copies of "Frampton Comes Alive."

Thanks for the comments, actually it takes alot of sifting to get this many good singles and the older they are the more scratchy, some of these are very scratchy but surprisingly few skips. Around here there is alot of country and gospel and you can pick up just about the entire Herb Alpert collection in one good day of shopping, on any given day, there'e just no end to them. But it's all worth it when you find the soundtrack to "the Wild Angels" which I happened to find this Saturday. I believe the thrift stores are the last frontiers for discovering unusual music so get out and go shopping!

Nice. The scratchier the better! And there's nothing wrong with a Glen LP. Unless you've already got it. Which you usually do.

i really love these kind of wild style mixes, they are fun. only a few weeks ago i found the 7" single "96 tears" by question mark for 10 cent in a junk-shop. great fun! and uuhhhh! - the mixes that you sent me are HOT!!

Wow, those were happy days when a single mix could draw this much attention on this soemwhat run-down site. And I wasn't even among the "KongRatulators" then. Ne'ertheless, I'd like a copy of this.
