This is part of the musical accompaniment to a road trip across Texas with my friend Summer. There's a lot of Bright Eyes/Conor Oberst repition because, well, the road trip is to see Bright Eyes perform in Houston and Dallas and we'll want to be listening to a lot of his music to get revved up for it. I chose these Bright Eyes songs mainly because they won't be on the cds I'm bringing and I want to pack in as much Bright Eyes as possible. The other songs are just cool.There will be a part two to this soon.

manana is a great song. props for bombs over baghdad, faint, stripes, and nmh. great driving mix (lots of sing-alongs!)
i'd tend to agree.. lots of good choices and good songs to get revved. a really, really good road tripping mix.
Again, thankful that someone recognizes the wonder that is David Garza. As I posted on someone else's mix here, "Discoball World" is my favorite track of his.
Ah, I want to see Bright Eyes in concert so badly. And "Loose Leaves" is my favorite BE song. Yeah, anyway...the rest looks really cool too.
