this is for my friend, the fantabulous ladyboy aery. she wanted me to make her a saint et mix, as i put 'he's on the phone' on a tape for her awhile ago and she fell in love with it. she had to hear more of lady cracknell and the boyz, you see. so, i included 'the hits,' but she also wanted me to include things i've been listening to recently. and, the whole of it proved quite difficult. just look at interpol coming right after 'you're in a bad way.' still, i had fun. i was trying to make the sounds kaleidoscopic. mood swings running after swinging songs, if you will. of course, i'm wondering, as i always do when i finish a mix, if i succeeded in what i set out to do . . . :)
