Comment:
Due to my CD burner breaking down about a week and a half ago, my mix making has decreased significantly. Finally, I decided to break out my old boom box and crank out a tape just to satisfy the mix monkey on my back. I tell you what, I had forgotten how much fun it is to make a tape instead of a CD. Kind of shitty sound quality, but that's OK. Hopefully, the burner will be up and running before too long and I can get back to trading. Much thanks go out to lo-fi jr. for the Miles track and to Curtis Burns for the Gong selection.Feedback:
i agree with what you say about tapes and i like this mix!
Yeah, the mix monkey is alot of fun, but can get mighty nasty if not fed regularly. Good to se you up and running again and nice to see that Gong track put to good use. really nice looking mix. Love the Miles, Fripp/Eno and Coltrane picks especially.
Nice mix. Entertaining title.
Welcome back. Ain't nothin' wrong with a C-90. I hope you weren't the one who stole my artificial white Christmas tree out of my back seat last year! ;)
Love the Bennett track, though I the Wilco version is better I think.
Welcome back Shawn! ......glad you're gettin' your jones anyway ya' can!
Really like this mix, especially the Lemonheads zinger and the choice Neil Young cut. And the title brings back personal fuuzy memories of desperately lugging a confiscated tree up steps to an second level apartment - the tree people are asking for it, leaving them out all night, next to a pub. Come on now.
It was only a matter of time before this title was taken -- you beat me to it! Love the song, dig the tape.
