Comment:
The second (and probably last) in my Corporate Training Musicals series. In this one, factory foreman Mel Gottleib needs to conduct disciplinary interviews with his ne'er-do-well employee, Tillie Izzo. Given that Gottleib's musical counterpart in this mix is Tom Jones, he hits on Tillie every chance he gets. Tillie mostly rebuffs these advances, but she's got a secret: "Tillie Izzo" is actually a cover for a renowned international secret agent known only as "Shayla." Shayla operates around the world but specializes in exposing corporate corruption in middle management. Which is exactly what she does to Mel Gottleib, who was embezzling from the company. In the end, Gottleib curses "Tillie" as a "Daughter of Darkness," as he's dragged off to jail to answer for his heinous crimes.Feedback:
Another inspired work. Wonderful.
stupid but fun
Looks like I'm not the only one who put "Daughter Of Darkness" on a mix in the past couple of weeks! (See my "She's Dawning On Me" mix in my archives...). Great concept.
hilarious and very inventive.
Uh...what do they put in the water cooler where you work? Lots o' nice picks...especially like that Pussycat/Dreaming pairing. Is that you doing the "Mel & Tillie" tracks?
This is just plain weird, but in a good sort of way. So what do J&C think of their dad?
I second the other comments. Neat.
