Not much to say here. I meant to post this a long time ago. I saw the recent "32 Love Songs" post and thought I'd add my own. I made this both to consolidate the somewhat unwieldy box set for car rides and such with 25 of my faves (an idea hinted at in the interview booklet that came with the box) and to turn friends on to the Magnetic Fields (I didn't have all of their albums when I made this...now I do). I arranged the songs in a running order that seemed to flow well to me. Why 25 songs? I was going to make it 23 (1/3 of the box) but I had trouble axing two songs. So there you go. The whole box is pretty fantastic, though, and I encourage anyone who owns it to put all three discs on shuffle one afternoon. A great way to spend 2 & 1/2 hours. EDITED 7-21-04. "I Shatter" stuck out like a sore thumb on this mix, so I decided to swap it with "All My Little Words," a song that I now cannot believe I omitted the first time around.
