Comment:
Earlier tonight I was watching Rushmore again before getting ready to leave school and visit my hometown. I felt like I needed something poppy, wistful and vaguely fey (granted, not so vaguely with Belle and Sebastian) for the drive to the airport. Only two of these songs have been in a Wes Anderson movie, but these songs have similar associations for me.Feedback:
Holy toledo, this looks so so good. I love everything--Nick Drake, Elvis Costello, NMH, Belle and Sebastian, and all the others--but you get a shiny gold star for the Django Reinhardt. I am so impressed. :)
I'm with Emily.
The B&S song is really appropriate because Luke Wilson still holds school records in the 400m and 800m at St. Mark's in Dallas. Good looking mix.
This is really nice. Too many great picks to single any out.
awwwww! Edward Appleby! lordy, I adore that flick. and this mix is lovely as well. :) I wonder what would happen if you played this CD and the film at the same time...mmm...
