Comment:

For those who like this sort of thing, this is the sort of thing they will like: girl group tunes with a beat & a punch. I tried to steer clear of
some of the more overplayed groups like the Cookies, but I just couldn't leave out the Orlons, the Bobbettes, & the Marvellettes. Come on & truck!

So many groups that I haven't heard. I'm sure this is splendid. The earlier volume is wonderful. Love those Ikettes!

Hell, I didn't know there WAS an earlier volume. Looks just great. Love the Essex, Exciters, Ikettes, Bobbettes, Marvelettes . . . all the -ettes, basically, especially the ones performing with their kinfolks.

Yowzzir! This looks like the best yet, even though I'm not familiar with all the tracks. I'm gonna need this one, Joey. Keep it up! (the good work, that is)

Well thanks much for slipping this treat into the envelope! Love the opener a lot, and the closing run of 4 is killer. Is it my imagination or does "Surfer Street" have something to do with "Jolly Green Giant"? And "Gravy Train" does seem to be a cousin to the Dee Dee Sharp greats. Other fave finds: "You Ain't So Much a Much," I've Got New for You," and "Webster.." Keep those girl groups a-coming.
