if you like emo, you like it. I don't personally understand the whole phenomenon but I won't deny that I love Saves The Day, The Anniversary, Hey Mercedes and Thursday. *shrugs* it's all good. oh, and the two Appleseed Cast songs I've heard have been excellent too. scratch all that, I love all the bands on this CD! well, no. not New Found Glory but still...

I, on the other hand, find it rather easy... or, in fact, compelling to dislike emo. But when I hear my friend liked emo, I just think "Well... at least they aren't listening to mainstream music..." And hey, there's always "emo-core," or as I like to call it "emo if emo were good." That's the category I throw Death Cab for Cutie (and a lot of Northwest bands) into.

There's nothin wrong with good music you enjoy...there are great bands on here.
