Comment:
I ended up giving this tape to two wonderful people whom I knew I might not see for a long time. No real concept to the tape, except I put the slower, mellower songs on side b.By the way, the title of the mix comes from the final track. I am totally privileged to be the first person on AOTM to submit a mix with Abi Tapia on it. Everyone should check her out--her CD's are wonderful and she's a pleasure to watch live. Her website is www.abitapia.com. Go now!

Yes, the cover art is beautiful. I love "Alvin's Theme"! The Straight Story is a great movie.
Thanks for the compliments. If anyone's interested, the picture was taken by a photographer named George Tice. He does some wonderful stuff.
A gorgeous shot for sure! And some absolutely wonderful picks... Plumtree, Social Distortion, Talulah Gosh, Smugglers, Mojave 3 *sigh* I'm guessing you're Canadian? Don't know a lot of Plumtree fans south of the border...
No, not Canadian. I got into plumtree through their labelmates B'ehl. Alas, both bands are no more...sigh.
Great mix! I love the Fat Tulips. Tiger Trap and Laura Watling. Excellent Joni pick too!
