Comment:

when Food Records released Blur's "best of" I became disappointed because there was only their singles on the compilation, and some beautiful tracks such as The Great Escape's (their best album) "Fade away" were not included. some alternate versions like "To the end"'s french version or the DVD version of "Far out" (featured on "No distance left to run" DVD), along with the Peel Acres version of the silly "Song 2" are better than the original ones.

Great band. Are they still together? A nice selection of songs you've compiled. I wish I had their 10th anniversary boxed set with all the singles and their many excellent b-sides.

topnotch. although i cannot fathom what happened to popscene, yr inclusion of st louis makes up for it (even if, debatably, young & lovely or swallows in the slipstream are better b-sides, but then i'm obsessive). kudos.

I'm nowhere near as obsessive as the previous (erstwhile and famous) commenters, but I like what you have here...lots!

Great mix, esp. kicking it off with Beetlebum (any mix of just Blur I've ever made starts off with that monster of a song). And yes, they are still together, somewhat...Graham Coxon apparently is not involved with the new album, but he hasn't been officially kicked out of the band. Follow all the drama on nme.com. Anyway, new single early 2003, album in the spring, allegedly.
