Comment:

Each song on this tape is from a band a different friend introduced me to, or is a song I listened to because it was on another AotMer's mix. The tape flows really well, and I forced myself to only put
one song per band- which was very difficult, in the case of Belle & Sebastian, and Queens of the Stone Age, two bands I like a lot. I'm sure some will say there are dozens of better Belle & Sebastian songs to have put on this tape, and I agree, but for reasons of time and flow, "Judy is a Dickslap" was my choice. It flows very well after the Blondie track, and because it changes into mellow piano, it also flows perfectly into the Jellyfish tune. So I stand by my choice. My next few mix tapes will be overflowing with Belle & Sebastian, so this doesn't bother me one bit!
Thanks to AotM mixers for the Ram Jam tune, Belle & Sebastian, the Urge, BRMC, Redd Kross, and the Eels.
Thanks to Anthony for Audioslave, Queens of the Stone Age, Rusted Root, and the newer stuff from Weezer and Radiohead; thanks Kim for Ween and the Siouxsie; to Emma for X-Ray Spex and Brian Setzer; Pete for Blondie and the Dead (all those years ago); Jen for the Jimmy Castor Bunch; Cousin Lou for Jellyfish; JM for White Zombie; Deneen for Suicide Commandos; and forgotten hippie former coworker for Oysterhead.

This is mix tape for someone who loves deep album cuts. This is also a great tape for anyone who needs to be intoduced to music that doesn't suck. I see now I have a far, far way to go to match you and the other AoTM'rs skillz. Very nice mix.

This is great! I am so glad I have a copy. I especially like the "Jeresey's where it's at!" as a lead-in to the Nerf Herder song. :)
