Comment:
Originally fired by Prince from The Time for moonlighting as producers and missing gigs, Jimmy "Jam" Harris (keyboards) and Terry Lewis (bass) formed Flyte Tyme Productions in Minneapolis in the 80s. They went on to write and produce for a slew of artists, copping number one hits with their signature sound of insistent drum beats and soaring synthesizers. Their collaborations with Janet Jackson, in particular, brought them fame, fortune and a mantle full of Grammy awards. Here are my picks for some of their slick-sounding best.Feedback:
Good mix. Nice closer with the Sounds Of Blackness track.
fantastic! producer-based mixes always sound the most coherent. especially when theres a distinct style like jam and lewis
