Runs 53 minutes. The rule for this CD was that the piano had to "drive the song". The original rule was that all the songs had to be primarily piano chords, but I couldn't find enough, so some of the piano parts are more...notey. Suggestions especially welcome!Feedback:
wow! this looks great. you might also try the song that Thom Yorke does with U.N.K.L.E. "Rabbit In Your Headlights". That's a great piano tune. piano based tracks are hard to find I know it. OH, and "Konstantine" by Something Corporate is a piano-driven track, at least the version of it that I have. :) hope that helps a bit!
A thought...the Abra Moore song I've been putting on my mixes lately is piano-driven,called "Happiness"...so is every Tori Amos song in existence,as well as Counting Crows "A Long December".Try some Norah Jones, generally,as well.
This looks so lovely as it is. I wish I could think of some songs to suggest, but I think you've done fine here without my help :)
theres a few easyworld tracks that are mainly piano driven - the live version of demons recorded at the underground, for instance. Also you might like to try some of the early Elton John stuff plus stuff from 'Songs From the West Coast'
