Comment:
The title says it all. These are all songs from releases that dropped this year. I tried to take one song from each of my favorite records but I missed some records (not enough space) and included some great songs that weren't on my favorite albums (see: Trio, Alkaline; "Jaked On Green Beers"). In a year when most people fawned over the resurgence of recidivist rawk (which didn't sound much different from the shit that Crypt was doing in 1993) and bands like The Hives, The Strokes, The Vines and The Bumblefucks (yeah, I made that last one up), there was plenty of other shit going on that was actually interesting and didn't necessarily involve the Swedish Invasion. Fuggit. Bury this year, bring on the next one.Feedback:
i concur. good stuff. accept for the fact that against me is continually getting worse and worse. otherwise, you have a good mix here. i enjoy d4 and that sbb/cl split 10" its good stuff.
Good stuff, all.
coheed and cambria YES!
I've thought about doing this but I can't remember all the CDs I've acquired in a given yeart ...
I was going to drop 'recidivist' in a rhyme, but MC Frontalot got to it before me. And now, so have you. Bonus points, friend.
