Comment:

as the title says, good riddance to 2002. musically, though, 2002 was a pretty good year, as all of these songs came out, in one form or another, in 2002. some of them were first released in 2002, others appeared on compilations. highlights of the year for me: seeing neil halstead live, in a venue with about a hundred other punters. it was just him and an acoustic guitar and it was magical. other highlights: the tucker b's - a perth band who put on the most explosive live shows (and who've recorded a damn fantastic album to boot). personally, i say "piss off" to 2002, for many, many reasons, including my marriage breaking up (which really was for the best), losing my job, house taking forever to get sold, etc. here's to 2003!

Looks wonderful Sue. I hope things are better for you in 2003. If it makes you feel any better, meeting you and Xuxu was one of my highlights for 2002.

I hope 2003 will be a far better year for you. It was a pretty bad year for me as well. I hope it will inspire me to make a mix as good as this one...!

Great mix, Sue. I haven't been to this site for ages (busy with work [Oncology wards and VA wards suck]), and I'm sorry 2002 hasn't been such a great year for you. If you're ever up for a trade, let me know.
