Comment:
as the title says, good riddance to 2002. musically, though, 2002 was a pretty good year, as all of these songs came out, in one form or another, in 2002. some of them were first released in 2002, others appeared on compilations. highlights of the year for me: seeing neil halstead live, in a venue with about a hundred other punters. it was just him and an acoustic guitar and it was magical. other highlights: the tucker b's - a perth band who put on the most explosive live shows (and who've recorded a damn fantastic album to boot). personally, i say "piss off" to 2002, for many, many reasons, including my marriage breaking up (which really was for the best), losing my job, house taking forever to get sold, etc. here's to 2003!Feedback:
i hope your life gets better this year Sue, at least you got better weather than me (-20C) so happy new year to ya and BTW sweet little mix this one
Looks wonderful Sue. I hope things are better for you in 2003. If it makes you feel any better, meeting you and Xuxu was one of my highlights for 2002.
so good of you to put down where the songs came from - i think benedict was best local thing out this past year
really nice mix, Sue.
I hope 2003 will be a far better year for you. It was a pretty bad year for me as well. I hope it will inspire me to make a mix as good as this one...!
re: cd launch - i went to the launch. it was great.
Nice one Sue.., and yes it DOES get better! 2003 is gonna' be great!
Cheers to better years ahead. An excellent mix to get you on your way.
good luck for '03 sue. i must admit i'm a bit panicky...little country girl moving to the big city and all, but i'm sure that'll be fine. have a good summer...a friend of mine was in perth of chrissie and he said it was really pleasant over there. oh yeah...lovely mix- midweek, midmorning is good. have you heard any of tali's new band??
nice mix. hope you have a better '03.
Happy New Year Sue. Great close-out of 2002 here.
Great mix, Sue. I haven't been to this site for ages (busy with work [Oncology wards and VA wards suck]), and I'm sorry 2002 hasn't been such a great year for you. If you're ever up for a trade, let me know.
wow this is such a nice wrap, thanks for putting it up.
