Not to criticize anybody, because mixes of the week are always great. But it seems that many weeks, the trick to winning is to throw 20 songs together that only eight people have ever heard. I'm sure the 20 songs are great, and i'm sure the mix is mindblowing. But there's something to be said for a mix like this. 17 songs, each one -- or at least the first 16, i've never heard the closer -- screams for a mix tape. Anyhow, what was I saying? Oh, this rocks. Lucky Larry. His friend has great taste.

I got this mix on November 11th, 2002 and I've listened to it at least 3-4 times a week since then, not to mention i put all the tracks on my comp and listen to them individually that way. Yeah, Lauren is amazing and has great taste in music. She's opened my eyes to a LOT of bands and you guys should check out the rest of her mixes.

Oh and the closer is the theme to the French film "Amelie"...its beautiful.
