Comment:
This mix has been through many re-shapings over the past year, and has emerged looking not terribly unlike the first version of it, although much shorter. Very short in fact. Wow. I hadn't realized it til now; usually I would listen to it while falling asleep, so I never make it to the end anyhow. Oh well. Wilco has been cut out(because the clangy bit in "Misunderstood" always woke me up when I was trying to sleep) and far too many Beatles covers have been added. But I decided a few months back to just let this one rest, it's had enough overhauls. And hey, I still do like it, at least for the most part. And yes, the only Smashing Pumpkins song to really affect me was this cover, and not a particularly interesting cover; it sounds just like the original. So why is it on here...? Title from the sub-title of the Tom Waits tune(I just love what he puts in the parentheses, especially on Small Change). And I think Jeff's version of Hallelujah is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard.Feedback:
sexified bangtail, my main pose-striker!
the songs i know in here are all so pretty, the lou reed, pavement, and jeff buckleysongs.
