i think avril is doing okay for where she is. i very much agree, however, that a big ol' dose of this mix would be good for what ails her (and the rest of us).

I like her. Amazing though, how reactionary indie rock nerds are. You think just because the last few teenage performers were no talent putzes that it applies to everyone under 20. That's what being cynical and jaded will do to you. I like the Bowie song.

This is a really great mix. If you hate Avril and live in the U.S. , consider yourselves lucky...I see her goddamn snarling face everywhere here in Canada and it's making me sick. They play her on Much Music all the time, The CanCon rule allows the radio and music t.v. to cram this shit down every ones throat up here.

Her music is manufactured, straight off the conveyor belt, mcdonalds pop music pish aimed at clueless angst-ridden youngsters and dirty old men.

Avril is the next in a long line of terrible manufactured artists. Remember the LAST time we had a pop-rock-based teen popster? Oh, yeah, ALANIS. At least Avril doesn't have quite as annoying a voice, but on the other hand, she was never on "You Can't Do that on Television", either.
