Comment:
Lively, swinging pop music of the early 1930's. I guess some of it would have been called "jazz" at the time, but I don't think in those days jazz was a musical ghetto like it is now, it was just part of going out for a night on the town & having a good time.
Feedback:
Glorious stuff from an era when jazz wasn't aimless noodling but music to swing 'n' dance to. Fabilous.
Thanks to you I have a real love for the Boswell sisters. This looks awesome.
This looks fantastic! I'd love to hear it sometime, Joey. =)
Swingin' mix joey! I love the music of that era. Save me a copy please. On a side note, dig the Duke's integrated band. Another example of music bringing people together. Let's dance!
sounds VERY entertaining!

Very nice, some great tunes on this'un.
Lovely collection, Joey! This is the type of jazz which I find most accessible and ultimately the most swingin' and enjoyable. Well done!

Beats the shit outta '92, LOL! If I were alive in 1936, I'd hope this is what I'd been into.
