Comment:

All Canadian rock eh? Yeah there's some pretty great bands up here but you wouldn't know it by listening to Canadian radio or watching Much Music. Like Anywhere, you have to dig. A wide variety of styles here, Mostly garage punk, new and old, Country rock, Ska, Hardcore, and Ye Ye. The title is a reference to the fact that most of these bands are from Quebec(apologies for using the whole"Blow the Fuse"compilation album, but its mixed in inconspicuously with other stuff). Lots of great bands sadly didn't make the cut due to the constant flux of my collection, things I don't have anymore...Shadowy Men, I, Braineater, Guess Who, Skaface, the list goes on. A free copy goes to the first person who can tell me which band, on here, is actually the Young Canadians before the name change.

As just about everybody knows, it's The K-Tels! (God bless the Internet! ;)) Er, and I'd prefer a CD version, if possible . . . ? But seriously, except for Huevos Rancheros and The Royal Crowns, I don't know ANY of these bands . . . so I can't waitr to hear it.

You mean there's more to Canadian music than Neil Young and Joni Mitchell?? Seriously, I don't know most of these bands, but judging from your past work, I bet it's worth a listen.

The Haunted! That's my all-time fave garage song, therefore they are the greatest Canadian band ever. Super cool, man. Do save me one.
