There are so many strange little spirituals tucked in on records here and there, I thought it might be interesting to listen to them together. It works well. I've listed the artist, recording, title, songwriter.

I would defintely trade "spirituals" mixes with you. If you can find it, The Watersons have a wonderful a cappella song called "Glory in my soul". "A sweet hope of glory in my soul"

La Reine !!! I'd trade with you but we seem to share the same record collection - it's a pleasure to browse your mixes and reach across the room and play that long lost track. C'est magnifique !

I had a similar thought about grouping gospel/religious stuff together (though have'nt got around to it yet), but would love to do a swap, as (apart from the Nina Simone)my experience does'nt cross over. let me know if you see anything interesting ?
