Comment:

I was inspired by a recent mix posted here, 42456. Sounded like a cool idea, and a good chance to go through the whole cds. It was interesting making a mix where the order of artists was set, but not the songs. I had to trim a few A artists I had, but I gave priority to ones I actually had cd's by, and then to those I had multiple mp3s by, and finally to those "one-shots." Turned up a decent one here, though I must add, I really only listen to maybe 4-5 of these artists. Also will I be able to continue to think of Seacaptain-related titles for each letter of the alphabet? Stay tuned. :) And PS, how pretentious is this? (Don't answer that.) Some comments: A Tribe Called Quest -- my favorite hiphop group. Acid Brain -- got this cd free when I ordered a few Dread Zeppelin cds from the label (Birdcage Records). It's not too good, though this song is ncie. Aesop Rock -- a friend made me an underground hiphop mix cd, and this group/song was one of the highlights. Air -- my favorite group on here, I went with a not so obvious song choice. Amnesia -- this track features Beck on harmonica, and is a wild song. Very cool. Not sure the story behind the Gillian Anderson track, but I dl'ed it from somewhere and I have a crush on her. Lots of Adam Ant to choose from, but I went with a strange one. Apples In Stereo -- obvious choice perhaps, but a great song. Augie March -- an Australian friend has sent me both their cds, and I dig 'em. A little bland, but in a good way.

you forgot an albatross. Seeing as albatross is in the tape name you should ad one of their tracks.
