Comment:
made for a first meeting with a boy unlike any other. it was the most un-blind date i'd ever had. we stayed out for twenty-five hours straight. we met up in his city, in his country. then i returned to mine. hence the title. (so this could easily have been thrown in the "depression" category, i guess.)Feedback:
killer opening! fantastic covers! amazing flow! subtle references! fantastic closing track! n, you are seriously all that. seriously. this boy better check his balance one time and recognize how lucky he is. great great mix.
ha ha! i thank you. the best part is that he gave me a fucking incredible mix in return. serious fantastic like a five-fingered bling ring. i can't even begin.
that's a mighty fine mix.
oh, it's so lovely. And I'm getting teary (in a happy kind of way) at the thought of gorgeous 25 hour dates that end with goodbyes from different countries.
Reallt cool! Dig the Unrest, Superchunk, Sloan and Konk -- I was the first person at AOTM to put them on a mix I'll have you know! ;)
Hey, hadn't seen you on the moard in a while! Great Grandaddy song, looks like an excellent mix.
Jesus, this is sweet, especially now that I know the outcome of this meeting. Why on earth have I not previously commented upon your mixes? Extra props for your stellar Elvis, Superchunk, Pixies, Flop and Smog choices...
Ah, I was a pariah then, but this is what led me to meeting teapin, so how can I be bitter? Anyway, there are a lot of mixes on this site, so mine could be easily passed over. Thanks for looking, Rob!
