Comment:
April 20, 2002 - More of the Angels song -- there's a third one in the works, so send me your suggestions ...... the rest of the Peter Case infor (...Postmodern Fragmented Neo-traditional Guitar, 1989)
Feedback:
Another superb mix. I'd forgotten how great "Sweet Black Angel" truly is. If you're still interested in suggestions, try Tobin Sprout's "Angels Hang Their Socks on the Moon" or, if you're feeling a little darker, the Velvet Underground's "Black Angel's Death Song."
Another winner. Do you know Jennie Stearns' music? Her "Angel with a Broken Wing" would be a natural for Volume 3 (as would John Prine's "Angel from Montgomery").
very nice.
Lovely...if not entirely angelic :)
another truly great mix of yours!
nice series, here's what i modestly suggest: ben harper's "waiting on an angel", heather nova's "maybe an angel", interpol's "say hello to the angels" and of course massive attack's "angel"... but it may all be too mainstream for you. keep up the good work.
oh, and the first band is called Pow Wow, and the album is 'comme un guetteur'. i'm french, yeah.
Love the cross-genre-ness of this... and what documentation!!
Beautiful as always Sally.
great theme. what about "she's an angel" by they might be giants? or maybe the angel theme song?
Nice. How 'bout Jim White -- Angel Land and Book of Angels. Dylan's Three Angels. And I like Richie Haven's version of Angel.
Nice.
Another winner!
heavenly choices.
