Comment:

Many repeated artists on this one, but sadness runs over the same grounds. I made this tape a few years ago (2?) for my close friend when she was sad. The tape consists of songs I knew she had personal associations with along with other sad songs. The tape relates to feelings of failure to meet expectations, being lost and alone, struggling between personal desires and external forces, etc. But, it ends with a somewhat positive affirmation... I just wanted to remind my friend that despite the loneliness and emptiness she feels, she's "got somebody to lean on."

*ah yes, reminder by the comment... you have to splice parabol and pushit just right, and I orginally forgot to mention that it's the salival vers. of "pushit"

hmm ... parabol into pushit ... you've got me intrigued. I'll have to check that out. I can't stand Morrissey's voice but the rest of this is beautiful.
