Comment:
A friend of mine just gave me this nice new stereo system and my sister needed music for her car, so this is my first of probably many mix tapes from Fuzzy Mix Tapes Unlimited, a new division of my bedroom. I have a hard time staying within themes or genres. It was original going to be all jumpy driving songs but got a little sidetracked...as did the original theme of songs about loneliness and isolation...but it all flows surprisingly well, especially side two. Oh, and the lame title comes from a Papa John's Pizza flyer...I usually title my mix tapes from some dumb clippings like that, which I glue on to the spine of the cassette sleeve.
Feedback:
like this
Ana Ng is the best way to start a mix!
good to know that there's another human being on planet earth who knows sleater-kinney except the band members and me
wow! i feel so famous....i hate "dinosaur world",but its fine if other people like it...haha..thanks..i feel special.

I really like that Bob Dylan tune. And Sleater-Kinney has been used 1,630 times on this site, Cyp, so I don't know that the club is *that* exclusive. Anyhow, some nice stuff and a great cover.
Yes. And I saw Sleater-Kinney live in Providence recently and they certainly attracted more than a small cult following. In fact, they're kind of annoying to see live now because of the inconsiderate "concert" crowd they attract that treat them like untouchable celebrities. But I still love their Hot Rock album to death so I had to throw one song off of it on here.
Oh, and I'm glad that with the Drab cut I could further the trend of an artists' least favorite song getting the most exposure. It's an important musical convention.
