Comment:

Not the usual stuff I listen to, at home or at college, but these are unusual times. And whether or not I take shit for putting this here, I'm sending this to my oldest brother, Steve, a Captain & Pilot in the Air Force. It's just these two songs & some letters from family members in MS Word. Looks like he's gonna see some action over there and I pray that he makes it back alive.
No matter which way you fall on the issue, you have to say some prayers and thank God for our military (because they've always defended our right to say whatever we want to say, pro OR con). Freedom isn't Free. I don't think a lot of people "get" that. It's not the Press or the University March Organizer that keeps America free; it's the Soldier. So God speed; do what you have to do; then get out of there.

Nice stuff, Joe. I've heard that Worley song on AM Radio &
it's a great tune (and not what I listen to usually either) but
I might just buy it, especially 'cause it pisses a lot
of people off); gets to the heart of the matter.

I'll keep your brother in my prayers, may God hold him in the palm of His hand!

no problemo, happy to do it !
My kids are putting together a care package (peanut butter, non-perishables, etc,
for the troops (sent by way of the Red Cross)); drawing
a few pictures...and we duplicated a mix from "The All Ages Show" on wprb
for them too (goofy kids songs mostly...but, I think, very touching to someone
who will recive it far from home & family).
It's a fun family project and it teaches them about giving back
and all about what I feel are the right values to instill in their little minds.
take care.
