NPR ain't really that bad, it's just that it's on all the time haha.
The reason a pretty girl is like NPR is because at first a pretty girl is good to look at. But when she wouldn't shut up you wanna slap her. In the same way NPR is enjoyable and slightly interesting at first, and then it gets annoying and you want to kill it. Another reason i called it that is because of the Magnetic Fields song in which he sings "A pretty girl is like ..." and it's a funny song. :)
