My friend asked me to make her a hip hop mix cd. So, somehow I decided to try to show the evolution of hip hop, which is by no means complete. I tried to include the milestones and what-not (Like "Language of Violence" is the first hip hop song to deal with anti-homophobia). I'm not sure why I included "Bring the Noise," other than I just really love Chuck D. in that song. It's not the awful Anthrax version. This is the first disc, the second one is pretty much just underground, and semi-underground--I'm still working on it.
