This mix is the most fun I've had in a long time. Starts out with a sequence of 80s/oldies-but-goodies to get my cuz bobbing her head on her 20th bday, then segues into some more recent rock, then goes completely nuts with Eminem through Belinda Carlisle. Let me tell you, there is nothing like the genderbending occurring from the Beasties to Bitch and Animal to the late, horrible Belinda Carlisle. The Madonna is a nod to our younger days, one of her favorite torture instruments to my badder self. The Ace of Base- well, come on, who didn't love it when it happened? And the BADII track rocks my world, cheesy as it is, Mick Jones will forever be my man (on that note, RIP Joe Strummer). That Bruce/EStreet track tops 15 minutes of pure live rock'n'roll soul. And the Leslie Gore? Well, it's her goddamn BIRTHDAY! (And PS- I call her Big K, name is Kristen, etc etc, there's a sign on our local K-mart that says "The Big K", thus the .gif, the end, the end, the end.)
