Another mix from the archives, this one looks about five or six years old, judging from my tastes and the inexplicable appearance of a George Michael song(hey, "Too Funky" was bad-ass when it came out...too bad it's total cheese now). Looking at it now, I get the feeling that I was trying to do the same thing back then that I am now, which is collect "theme" songs with powerful emotional impact, whether that's thru the lyrics or the instrumentation. One difference is that now I work with a lot more instrumentals than vocals, which can be a challenge to find a song that moves you if it doesn't have any words.
