Comment:

A new series of mixes in which I delight in random choice as well as musical education. Here, I will be pulling-- literally, at random-- from the pool of all of the albums in my library I haven't heard yet. Each song and its order are selected randomly and the results will be judged and placed here for posterity. I will then listen to the albums to which each song belongs. EXPERIMENT #1: a raging success. The order flowed beautifully, and while there was an interesting dependence on quirky rock at first (as well as Led Zeppelin...which is good, I've been meaning to get to them), the variety certainly increased in the second half. FAVORITE TRACKS: "Combat Rock" by Sleater-Kinney; "Goodbye, Goodbye" by Mu-Ziq.
