Comment:

I know it's not fair to put so many international artists on a dare mix, but it was out of necessity. I know that more than a few of these bands aren't really obscure at all, but I was serious about that wager. In fact, I'll send you a copy of this mix even if you just ask me nicely. I haven't had a chance to trade with anyone yet, and I'd really like to.

Oh, and Gene Wilder i s the sexiest man alive.

Yes, Chris Walken is also a very pretty guy. Sorry about that quadruple post! I think my computer is drunk.

Dude, did you search for the Gourds? Their cover of "Gin and Juice" shows up constantly! Still, I don't know any of their other stuff. If I knew more about this, I might be more willing to do a trade. And yes, Gene Wilder has a quality that can't fully be described. He's on my "if I were gay" list.

I've made a living putting international artists on my mixes (please check them out when you get a chance), so it's certainly fair. I've heard of (and love) WCPAEB, the Free Design, Curt Boettcher (actually more of his projects than his solo stuff) and Mark Stewart & Maffia (although I don't really love him and his posse) Anyway, I had fun looking at your mixes, Now I'm going to bed.

Yuppers, Scud Mountain Boys fronted by Joe Pernice of the Pernice Brothers. Check out song "Crestfallen" by said band. Also, Penthouse in the Woods is a great tune by Scud Mountain Boys, off their disc, "Massachusetts," I belive. Bought that CD for a girlfriend who liked Pernice Brothers, but she didn't seem to like Scud Mountain Boys. Too country perhaps?

Guess I win a mix. Weehoo.
