Comment:
A little more than just rockabilly this time. Thats my dad in the picture, it's kind of blurry but you can see the hint of mischief in his eye, gotta be something up with a guy wearing burgundy socks. Dad digs rockabilly but he also loves blazing horns and piano mad men, crazy singers and crazy lyrics so this is geared more for him with some R'n'B and a coupla Doo Wops.Dad used to play trombone until one day he decided it would be funny to punctuate a heated discussion between my future grandparents with random horn blasts, Grandma yanked out the slide and hit him over the head with it, bending the slide and thus ending the illustrious career of a rock 'n' roll trombonist. Dad could probably write a book about all the things he's been hit in the head with as a result of his sense of humour(most recently ,I believe, was a brick of ice cream at the last family gathering).Dad is the eternal class clown and he rode that Harley all over hell's half acre before crashing it and scaring himself off bikes for a few years.
Cheers

O.k.....maybe the picture thing isn't working, I'll try again later, hopefull before this leaves the top 100.
there we go, sorry the pic is so huge, still getting used to the complexities of the lexmark photo editor.
cool mix, and i still check out the aotm splitters forum
Wow, your family is invisible! R. Dean Taylor? I wonder how many years before "Love Child" and "Indiana wants me" that is. There are plenty of aces here, and tons I haven't heard. Save me a copy, babe. Looks like another winner. Man, I can just hear "right string, wrong yo-yo" playing in my head. But maybe that's a personal problem.
sounds FUN - TASTIC!
More greasy rockabilly!! Lotsa great stuff and a bunch I haven't heard. We'll have to swap some tunes again. Keep the family album coming.
I don't know what happened to the picture again, I assume it will be here shortly as that's what it says when you update a mix.
Great mix and story. Sorry about the photo, but the mental picture looks just fine.
Another great mix!
Awesome Grease... your mixes always have at least one band with a cool name. This one's The Honeybears.
Supa' greaseball! Gods bless the wild ones and those with the wicked good humor!
somehow i missed these the first time thru! man, these look super!
