Comment:
The three greatest, most influential bands of the late 80s: Jane's Addiction, The Pixies, and the Smiths, represented here with a mix for my own personal enjoyment of my eight favorite tracks from each (sticking solely with the officially released studio albums.) All three broke up after a handful of releases, yet left a standing legacy to their short-lived brilliance. No cover image for this one, since it's just a quickie for tossing in the car stereo while I'm driving around town. Still, it has undeniable energy and reminds me of a period in my life when this was pretty much all I ever listened to... (The title is a reference to the way Black Francis informed the other Pixies that he was dissolving the band.)Feedback:
three of my faves as well...i once did the same thing for sonic youth, mudhoney and alice in chains, back in highschool.
