Comment:
I put this mix together while thinking about my friend Alex, who lives in California, and my friend Aaron, who is moving to Colorado in a matter of days. Thus, I had a sense of urgency in finishing this mix (even though I haven't felt especially urgent about doing the liner notes) yet. The long and short of it is that I wanted to create something edgy and weird that would fit both the surreal postmodernism of Los Angeles and the empty stretches of Midwest interstates. Even though I gave up on Baudrillard a long time ago, think of what "America" might sound like if it were set to music and you have an idea of where and why this starts.Feedback:
ooohhh this is gorgeous!
Cool idea. Wall Of Voodoo might have made a nice addition.
