Comment:

A couple other people have done a Gram Parsons mix, and after looking at theirs, I discovered that mine is rather similar. Only a handful of the songs don't appear elsewhere, but that's hardly the point. The way I see it, it is not possible to have too many Gram Parsons' mixes on this site. He is kind of like my country Paul Westerberg. I don't know if the similarities really hold up, but they both have the ability to get to me like no other artist I've heard. And I know Emmylou sings on a bunch of these songs, but I only credited her once, because that's what I felt like doing. So, yeah. There are some really good songs here.

Wow, even if some of these songs are "obvious" picks--as far as Gram picks go at least--this is a heck of a mix Adam. My hat's off to you, my lad. Mmmm... flying burritos... I'm getting hungry.

This is awesome, as any Gram mix would be. And yeah, there are similar tracks to my mix (I remember the oak tree that we used to climb) and Sean's, but so what? What all of the other folks said, as well.

Everyone who does a Gram Parsons mix has a unique perspective and his music enables that. They are all such great songs.

Lovely mate... Gram is God and Emmylou is an angel, as far as I'm concerned. Nice choice of songs and order.

Hey Adam - long time no speak - you interested in a trade for this? I have NO Parsons in my collection (except for fallen legends) now that it has gone CD. Hope the summer is living up to expectations.
