The ususal mix of new stuff i've been into along with some old favorites pulled out of the archives and some new discoveries (Captain Beefheart...i know, i know. I just never got around to listening to him before, but wow.)Feedback:
and one hell of a beefheart tune it is, too. real nice picks here, shawn -- i could dig driving around to this.
I'm very much down with the Beefheart and those last two songs are great picks too. Nice all around, actually. How's the Wilco EP curiously? I've been meaning to pick it up.
Wow. I actually haven't really heard Captain Beefheart either. Maybe I should find a way to get into him.
A lot here I'm unfamiliar with, (songs:ohia, mogwai, palace music, etc.), but like the Stereolab placement & Mr. Westerberg always spiffs up (down?) a mix....
