Comment:
The original idea behind the mix was to reward myself for cleaning my still-messy room in my new place, then it became a reward for doing other tasks that had to be done.I began with 3 CDs that I thought would fit well together and made a short mix with them. The rest of my CDs in the area around the stereo were put back in my room. After I had completed a task, or a number of them, I would take another 3 CDs out of my room and repeat the process.
I decided that for this mix I would use only my own CDs (my flatmate has heaps), and use each CD and Artist featured only once.
I spent most of yesterday finishing it because I needed to send an email and wanted to do a number of internet tasks at once (I use internet cafes)but stuck pretty strictly to the 3 CD rule (Because the first of a trio completes the first side, I used a forth on the second side to even things up a bit.)
The Side B closer was not intended to be the last song (It, with 'Dead' is only a pair) but it's a finishes the whole thig off very nicely. I was reminded of it's video- hence the title, which sums up how I've been feeling lately very well.
