Comment:
This is what happens when you put all of Elvis Costello's songs in a blender (sans live versions for mix flow purity) and hit "frappe" and let it run until you come up with a perfect 80 minute mix. Songs were chosen randomly and in order, but not every song is the first random choice for its slot. I think this was the best way to come up with a completely fucking weird Costello mix. It works, if you ask me. (Oh, and I'm just going to credit it all to Elvis Costello, because ... whatever.)Feedback:
GAWD this is bizarre. Some of these must be on the new reissues because I haven't heard of a handful of them (I own the Rykos).
I must add that I think it's rather cool that the last track to fit was "Dissolve."
Some great selections here. I finally picked up the "This year's Model" CD with the extra CD of outakes and live stuff. Don't know why I waited so long.
I had a chance to meet Elvis C. at March's Indepedent Film Producer's Awards in Santa Monica. He had opened the show with an acoustic version of 'Peace, Love and Understanding". What a talented, cordial and nice guy.

Great idea and super mix!
