It seems like I haven't made a nice, upbeat mix for quite a while, so I sat down and did it, in preparation for my drive back down to school to take my last two finals. Title is from the Mountain Goats tune, though I was unsure of whether it's "Heaven 17" or "Heaven Seventeen," because there were two bands, I guess, one with the number and one with the word. In doubt, I went with the shorter one.

Oh this is a peach! Great odd or half forgotten songs, from Crenshaw through the Fugs.
And thats a great Stones tune to have near the end.

Good stuff Adam. I'm only familiar with the 80s band Heaven 17, who had minor hits with "Let Me Go" and "We Don't Need this Facist Groove Thing." Great picks from the Long Ryders and Flamin' Groovies.

Yeah, I'm betting that's the one he is talking about. I hadn't even heard of the other one 'til a few days ago. One would think they could come up with an original name. The New Originals was already taken though, apparently.
