Comment:
Here we are with Volume 4. Now that I'm started , it's hard to stop. Thats my great uncle Gordy in the picture, he of the red gingham shirt, you wouldn't believe how many red gingham shirts this guy had. Sweetest guy ever, I got to know him pretty well as he lived at my parents house on and off for the last 15 years. Poor Gordy was plagued by women , car and booze problems up to his last days, the following story illustrates the lethal combination of all three....I don't know the woman in the photo, she came and went long before my time, but my mom says she's the one that Gordy had a fight with or over in Hoopers Tavern. She ran out of the building and Gordy followed, but apparently not fast enough to catch her before she got in her car and plowed into him as he got to the street. Gordy woke up in the hospital with two broken legs for all his trouble.....but there was this nurse...ah, but thats another story.
Feedback:
This looks really fine. I'm glad you got a big family!
Sounds like a possible book.......! Viva Gordy.., Toujours Gordy!
Too many great tunes to count - Link, Wanda, Eddie, Billie Lee...... keep 'em comin', babe.
my aunt worked at hooper's and looks nothing like the woman in the photo. weird, eh?
Beautiful!
Wow, you've got more! Great series...
